They Won't Come...

By Jonathan Wikkins

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The words, that came     so fast and furious           for a while, won’t come… We all experience it,     from time to time,           writer’s block…. One day, soon,     it will come to an end… Is it changing directions? Finding heart to write again? What will happen,     this time? That’s anyone’s guess… What will be the inspiration? What will be the genre? What will be the category? Who will be written about? Will it be love poetry,     or short stories,           or novels? Who knows? Time will tell… © Jonathan Wikkins December 11, 2001 Revised March 3, 2008 All Rights ReservedWritten December 11th, 2001 © on Dec 11 2001 04:00 AM PST, David Michael Shurtleff   other • life
