To Love Someone

By Jonathan Wikkins

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

To love someone,     is to feel something special;         to know someone special, divine… You, my lady, are the one for me! Let our hearts fill with our love,     let our eyes look into each other’s soul,         as we part, let us leave behind,               a part of ourselves;         to remind the other we are now,     a part of them, and they are a part of us… Let us view life together,     as one, not two…     Two against all others,     two who know what is love… In the end of our days, together,     let it still be as one…         In the hereafter, let our love,     for the one left behind,           permeate their soul,               along with the knowledge,         that the one left behind,     will be waited for, until their day comes… Our love shall spring eternal,     let our hearts know,         the other is there… To life together!         To love together!                   To eternity as one! © Jonathan Wikkins October 31st, 2001 Revised February 5, 2008 All Rights Reserved Written October 31st, 2001 Revised February 5, 2008 © on Oct 31 2001 09:22 AM PST, David Michael Shurtleff   love
