When we met,     so long ago,           there was little between us,               then… Yet something started,     something I have yet to explain… Any ideas? In those days,     we were both unhappy,           both looking for something better… And we seem to have found it, then… We enjoyed each other’s company… We were good together,     we communicated, very well… What happened to all that? Remember the day,     you gave me your heart,           and I gave you mine? I don’t remember all that was said,     but I remembered it for years… And, it was always there,     with me,           no matter what… It was a source of comfort,     for you were always there… Did you see it the same way? Things changed between us,     but we kept in touch,           nothing ever lacked, or did it? Then, another change… Since we had kept in touch,     it seemed logical… To try again,     and we did… Now, things are     about to change again… To something we’ve never had… An opportunity, to find out,     if what we had so long ago,           could truly be… I feel, sometimes,     the love is still there           is it? Is it just covered? Does it need time, to uncover? What should we do,     to find if it is still there? Just a few simple questions,     with very difficult answers to find… Let us both see     if we can figure out the answers… Together, if possible… © Jonathan Wikkins November 7, 2001 Revised March 6, 2008 All Rights Reservedanother for you Written November 7th, 2001 © on Nov 07 2001 03:14 AM PST, David Michael Shurtleff   hope • love
