Walk with Me...

By Jonathan Wikkins

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

There was a day, we walked hand in hand, together… Hopes and dreams, all around… But now, she waits for me, patiently… For her love for me, goes beyond the physical and the emotional, and touches upon the spiritual… Just out of reach, she is… But there, just the same… For when my day comes, she will come for me, her smile full and bright… She will say to me: “I have come for you, my love, take my hand, once again, and walk with me… And we will walk through eternity, together, hand in hand, as before… © Jonathan Wikkins December 4th, 2001 Revised February 21, 2008 All Rights Reservedanother blindside... from my muse Written December 4th, 2001 © on Dec 04 2001 05:20 AM PST, David Michael Shurtleff   love
