We Must

By Jonathan Wikkins

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Why are we where we are, today? I do not understand... Why must I fight you, for you? I do not understand... Why did we loose, what we had? I do not understand... Did we ever truly have what we thought? I do not understand... If we did, can we find it again? I do not understand... Have we lost, what we wanted for so long? I do not understand... What do we do, if we find out we lost it? I do not understand... What happened? I do not know... But we must find out... So we can either move on, or back together... We must... © Jonathan Wikkins November 3, 2001 Revised March 6, 2008 All rights reserved Written November 3rd, 2001 © on Nov 03 2001 12:00 PM PST, David Michael Shurtleff   life • love • pain • sad • thoughts
