You May Know...

By Jonathan Wikkins

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

It is I, the gentle muse… Once again, I have returned… This time with a message to a few out there… I am told there are those, Who will take particular heed to my words, those who are in need of them… Some of you know who you are… Some of you do not… It is those, who do not, who have particular need of these words… You are needed in the fight, upcoming… The battle has begun… Others out there are looking to find you… But they do not know who you are, yet… But your wisdom and power must be combined with theirs, for the struggle ahead… For without you, all could be lost, to the minions of Evil… You could be Christian, or Wiccan, or Druid, or Buddhist, or whatever faith you may follow… That part does not matter… The forces of Good need you… Awaken your power as you can… Sharpen your swords… Temper your tongue… Find the courage you were born with, for that is also needed… The battle comes to us all… Sometimes within our minds… Sometimes within our hearts… Sometimes within our souls… And sometimes, right in front of us… Quoth the muse, I shall return… © Jonathan Wikkins April 13, 2002 Revised February 24, 2008 All Rights ReservedWritten April 13th, 2002 © on Apr 12 2002 05:20 PM PST, David Michael Shurtleff   dark • hope • life • spiritual • society
