Cobwebs
By Kai
How gently, carefully Weave we the web, Spiders hanging on the smallest thread, We spend our lives, our bodies, on the web. Our lives weave the web on which we lay, The fires of our minds these spindling threads. Such endless hunger, the need for prey, No longer, "Give us this day our daily Bread."
