dragons for ends (long)
By katchan
One more time...I'll face the dragon Those fierce hurtful teeth innocent helpless eyes. The red love of my life. In to the pit again Where I lost my armor before demanded by a damsel in 'distress'. My shroud, submissive My sheild, passive My will, weak Srtong only, is love There is reason for my shame; The kiss of flames. Burns deserved. My weight carried on my knees, colapsed in exhaustion. The rusted sword screams aloud 'not again' The dragon takes no excuses no explinations no appoligies, I shall be slayed. The flames will swallow me, just as they should. My heart groans unimportantly 'no more battles fair maden, no more fires till dawn, I shall suffer no more. Piece dear dragon piece.' Let me burn on my knees let me burn away. to slain ashes to dust. Into the pit again one more battle.....I never want to be in love again. what a mess that was. Written April 6th, 2002 © on Apr 05 2002 09:26 PM PST 10 • 0 • 1
