2002

My mother hates New Year's because she says it reminds her of how she's wasted her life, and I'm sure my father would eat her alive if he had the money. Do you wonder like me sometimes why bands first come out raw and by the next album they've got violins? Happiness is a vague sarcasm used to describe humanity; Humanity is a vague euphenism used to describe our mistakes. Mom hates New Year's because she says that next year will suck just like this one. Maybe next year she'll sing that line and I could play cello in the background.
