Please Forgive Me

By KC Kay

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I met a man a while back Who meant the world to me I never thought I'd fall in love With he who is older than me We've had some great times together And shared some great lauhgs too It's hard to think it could be over now Because of something stupid I'd do Noel I'm really sorry For a broken heart I've made If I could take it back I would If only I could make you stay I was taught awhile back not to lie And I wish I wouldn't have at all But if I hadn't lied to you Would we have this friendship at all? Noel they say age doesn't matter If you're truly friends But is that really the truth Can we make amends? Noel if age doesn't matter Than can we still love For talking to you makes my heart flutter Like the wings white of a dove Noel I know my sorry May never ever be enough But Noel please try to forgive me Because living without you would be too toughNoel I want you to know I love you with every bit of my heart and every single bit if this poem is the truth. I love you and hope you can find in your heart a place to forgive me. Written December 18th, 2001 © on Dec 18 2001 01:39 AM PST   0 • 12
