By Kei lynn

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I have the ball, I driblle downt he court, We only have 2 minuets, It's not my kinda sort, Of thing to make a shot, in this old game, I shoot the ball, and hold now shame, I made the shot! I'm finally free, And noone made the shot, But me! The stands stood up, And cheered so loud, I saw my mother, Standing proud, Now maybe I'm not, The perfect girl, I know I live in my own, World, But At that moment, IN my mind, I finally knew, I wall doing just fine, I had a smile on my face, and a tear in my eye, I finally felt proud, and I didn't want to die, I was happy at last, I was so darn glad, That finally, I made my self, Feel alittle glad.My shot! It was a 3 pointer! Written December 16th, 2001 © on Dec 16 2001 09:19 AM PST, Melinda Hatfield   18 • 0 • 10
