The Ice Skating competion
By Kei lynn
All my life I've skated, But now I have a chance, To accually compete, To skate an icy dance, I come up to compete, Against the best of best, I want to dance with honor, Above the very rest, I start on my routine, I've already done an axel, A triples all I need, I'm trying hard to comprehend, A fast and terrible speed, My side hurts and pains, It's driving me insane, I really want to win, But it feels so hard to try, When your bodys caving in, I feel my head hurt, I'm getting kinda Dizzy, I can here from the distance, They're scream for me to get buzzy. My mother yells at them, Shut the hell up, She runs onto the ice, Ignoring all their screams, You know it's like my mother, To do the crazy things. I Fall into her arms, Hoping to be warm, She yells at me, You haven't ate, you're realy stupid girl, That's just the way you are, I whisper knowing that she cares, And if it weren't for her, Life wouldn't be fair.
