Dreams Of You
By Khayman
Last night I lay in bed dreaming of you Of the great times that we had Of the beautiful music in your laughter Of the gentle caress of your hands As we expressed our deep devotion and love I dreamt of the healing light in your eyes Of the beautiful body which you yeilded only to me I dreamt of the ever growning bond of trust between us And of those late nights where you let me cry on your shoulder I dreamt of nothing, nothing but you, and the beauty of your heart As I awoke this morning from my dreams of you I felt no need or longing for the sleep in which you comforted me Because as I look over my shoulder I can see you sleeping softly Every morning I can see all of those things I dreamt of I can caress your beautiful, soft skin and feel that you're still real Every morning awakening to you reminds me That I'm in a never ending dream of my love for youSensualism is an area of poetry I'm still exploring, so I hope you enjoy it.
