Love And Death
By Khayman
Since my younger years I knew I needed you Your face shone pure in my fading light Every engagement you resisted After avoidance I persisted The sexual tension between you and I I dreamt of your passion and the taste of your skin I felt you giving in You’d be mine in the end As last I had your body trembling beneath mine Finally I’d broken your resistance and won Yet the promise you heard Was only a misunderstood lie We’d been bound by fate and you fell in love As I moved to the next challenge In darkness you shed tears of blood Knowing you couldn’t live without me You made the only choice you felt was left As I opened the door you slipped off your dress You sought proof that I still loved your caress If only I’d known it was you If only she hadn’t asked who it was Standing naked and wounded our love took a new meaning You were determined to have me even in death Only a flash filled my eyes Deafening screams as we fell to the floor By fate we’d been bound together, to romance in death In life our fate was only a prelude to irony You forced me into this post-mortem monogamous hell And found heaven in my fading shellMainly I write about my loneliness, but I'm also trying to tell fictional stories with my writing.
