Everyone
By Kiah
Everyone is so sad.And we’re all often tired.Everybody is so glad. We’re all getting wired. And no one wants to see the truth. We walk around,Like the rulers of our ground. But no one really seems free. We’re all just to busy to see.In the mess of the stress. We’re not blind just unwilling. We’re all in bed dreaming.Of that romantic America lost.At times it’s really seeming. That getting close is worth the cost.No one is stopping,As the deadlines are dropping. There is no time or way to heal.We barely get a chance to fell. How can we ever evolve? If our humanity is not resolved. The days slip away as the smile from a face. And in someone’s ripped trappings lies a space. For us all to find shelter and grace. In someone else’s divinity. We all find our dignity.
