Dangerous Secrets--Challenge Poem
By KissTheSkyPH
Thinner and thinner, Letting the liquid of my soul Escape in any way possible. I can't let myself become any more infinite. I want to feel small. I want to notice the confines of my own skin By no longer having any. I'd ask you to help me take in the seams But I'm afraid you'd only comment On why life is too big for me again. I'd reach out a hand to you But I'm afraid you'd see the Red trickle painting my wrist. Soon I'll be nothing but air. You'll breathe me in and know everything, But at least then your desire to help Can't hurt me.Oooh! The International Library of Poetry is publishing this in some anthology or other. Go me!
