Don't speak your mind

And it is this that kills me Drawing lines to make it better Have your beliefs but never speak them Freedom of speech but don't step on toes Be wary of those more senstive Those uncapable of turning their heads "Shh, you are offending those who do not agree" But MY thoughts and feelings are less? Don't offend but when you are offended just turn your head "So he didn't agree with you, couldn't you just walk away?" Why? Because I was willing to debate And HE was upset, offended? I am suppose to back down Because HE is closed-minded? HE who has never been there He who knows more, with the silver spoon in his mouth? He who has never lived without Never a day on the brink of starving Never a fear that his child may starve Never made a bad mistake in his life I should back down? Why? Because I AM poor? Because I DO understand? Because I HAVE been there? I am the wrong one Because I couldn't justify killing my child Because I didn't think the ends justified the means? I am unworthy of a child, because HE thinks I am not rich enough "Don't breed what you can not feed" Never any expections Never any doubts I am poor and I am at fault In capable of raising healthy happy childern Because I will never be able to buy them that fancy sports car Your right... What was I thinking...
