Forgetful Me
By kittycatds
Again I forget, as I rush outside The sound of the truck reminding me The chilling wind surrounding me As I hurry to unlock the gate My coat flys open, sending chills through me As I struggle to move the cans That weight more than me Or so it seems The truck pulls closer as the can starts to spill I curse to myself, how stupid can I be? Everyday its the same Rushing to hurry Things I should have remembered Twenty-five and still I need a mommy Day in and day out Last mintue reminders Last mintue feedings Last mintue cleaning Last mintue life What was that you say? I forgot what? Damn, not again... Written November 7th, 2001 © on Nov 07 2001 02:17 AM PST 0 • 10
