Daemon Childe
By ktzulu
Bred and borne of scorned fury and fire With the nobility of a peasant for thy sire Thrust into thou's world of blazing turmoil And to the Christ tempted to foil The child cloaked in elegance Misguiding thee naive worshippers of reverance Lambasting the prophesized fortunes of days long old Laying oppurtunistic claims of deceits therein told Befriended of pagans, Thy was raised of the blade As mere papal entrance was fiercely forbade Working the rituals of ancestors forever since past Thy was branded as daemon and swiftly lashed Though thier accusing fears didn't ring far from true For the crimson of devil was thy's inner hue Laying waste to the experiences of the word And teaching thou, thy messiac vision blurred From forth the seed of daemon thy sprung And from atop thou's throne in heaven thy wishes thee flung Thy spot in the fires thoroughly assured With ravenous incantations of the absurd Behold the child of the blackened flame Educated that thou's Christ and daemon are but the same Hurling spears of blaspemous insult With intentions to lace old wounds with salt Forgive thy not, Thy knowest what thy do Thou's grail in the mire was thy that threw With blood on thy hands of the famous son Of daemon child, Thy am one Written January 16th, 2002 © on Jan 15 2002 11:22 PM PST 0 • 10
