A Child No More
By Kym
She walks to the open window. There she steps outside to the roof What has just happened, she must take in, and to take it all in, she must be alone. She takes a breath. And then another. Recounts it all in her mind. Carefully weighs her feelings. What should she be feeling? For once, she decides to feel. Decides to choose joy. Decides not to question it. She makes her way back into her bedroom, And into his arms, A child no more. This is quite personal to me, it is about the first time I made love to my now husband...I thought it was to be a one time thing, and I was so much in love with him I decided to sleep with him anyway. I do need help with a title. Written November 20th, 2001 © on Nov 20 2001 11:57 AM PST 0 • 8
