A MEMORY TO US ALL He came of this earth by fate He left of this world in destiny I knew him to have a quiet nature Until his grandkids came around Then his heart would melt As he teased, poked and tickled them A man of strength, his fight was for peace A man of simplicity, he loved to tinker with almost anything A man of comfort, he held us all in his prayers A godly man who loved to fish To share with neighbors one and all A man of vision, he saw a world before him That gave all mankind a place in the family He was a Son of God and all were welcome around him Today he leaves us with his inspiration To fulfill a plan made long ago… To give a piece of your heart away Of each and every day He knew no stranger, for we were all his brothers In the kingdom to come, we all live to see. Although, his name is Howard Ozelle Switzer I knew him by Uncle Son People at work nicknamed him as Homer See he knew his place from the very start How to welcome all those around him Amazing how such a simple man can affect so many… But then again, look how simple Jesus was as a man.have you ever had a relative be your personal hero?
