My Little Love
By LadyDame
I go into my room To see how doth my wee bairn fair And such a sight of magnificence I do find there Burrowed between satiny red sheets My little love's heart beats as he sleeps so deep My whole being swells with pride and joy As I gaze upon my first born child An auburn haired, green eyed little boy He has arched eyebrows like me And speaks with a voice soaked with sensuality Oh, he is so sweet He charms everyone he meets He smiles in a knowing way And lours you in with his eyes That have so much to say Donovan is also very reserved He is refined, debonair and very undeserved For I was a bratty child Who through tantrums and was wild But my husband was very good So I suppose our son also would be I love him so entirely much He is my everything and such I adore this mother business. Lady Dame One afternoon I went into my room while my son was sleeping, and I felt so overwhelmed with love for him that I went straight to the computer and wrote this little poem. For all those who are mothers, I am sure that you understand. My son has changed my life. I could not have asked for a better child. How did I get so lucky?!
