Patience Is a Virtue
By LadyDame
The Boundaries of Hell are in sight and sound I can hear the screaming bodies hit the ground A Death Angel leads me to the gates There for my wedding ceremony I will wait The Dark Lord has summoned me And ordered that I am his bride to be A black lace veil covers my pure white face It hides my fear but gives me grace I carry the head of a weak-filled man My Lord ordered him dead and brought to his land So I did the deed to please my groom And he was quite amused that I carried it out so soon That night to darkness, I was wed An after the ball, I was in our evil bed Doing the deed of giving my Lord a son For him to teach how an army is run But what nine weeks later In my dark red room A devil's child grows fast in a woman's womb Our son was born with power in his gaze He was Satan's heir, and he we would raise Thousands of years flew by and we eventually got old The Prince of Darkness was ready to take control He argued with his father and demanded to rule the lands His own son dared to defy him So out of his father's land he was cast into the burning sands There he would remain, until the death of his Lord Until the control was his right He would not walk through the palace doors 500 years passed No death or decay 100 years later The prince was still cast away 350 years the after day He was invited back to meet with the evil king In a short time the prince arrived on his black horse with wings His father decided to let the prince have command For he was growing old and weary To aged to demand The prince graciously accepted He did what he had to do Very slowly the young king learned That patience is a virtue Lady DameNice little rift for that fable, huh?!.
