Thoughts
By Laina Wren
Thoughts of emptiness; so shallow, so vague time seems to stop; I lie in bed alone and wonder most of the time; especially when my heart has been crushed, by my true love. It's as though someone does this to test your love and loyalty to another. If you pass you get the one you love, if you fail they shall never return these are the thoughts of emptiness; they make you think and wonder they make you want to cry; "I'm sorry, please forgive me;" You don't say anything-- just wonder will you believe me, or just look the other way, waiting for it to happen again. So you try your hardest to apologize and make things right; but your thoughts of emptiness, and thoughts og will this be right come into your mind and all you can do is wonder-- and hope you will pass this test, that has been put forth, upon you. Hoping that they will say "I believe you." Yet I also hurt, and wonder if I shall pass this great test. Written October 1st, 1996 © on Oct 31 2001 01:50 PM PST 18 • 0 • 8
