Release of His Bride
By Lightwalker
For six months her voice had not been heard. her arrival needed, but never occurred. The trees were baron, stripped of their pride. awaiting winter's fall, and the release of his bride. He held her tight as the days dragged on mourning for her, even before she was gone. “I will return my love” she said with a tear “For love is eternal... and my leave, half a year” When the days grow longer and colder once again You will find warmth by my side as I relieve all your pain I will not desert you for you are my Love But as for now, I belong up above Hades bowed his head, then looked up to the ground And in a world of darkness, the only light that was found Was the radiance she gave forth from the edge of her eye To the man that allowed her to hold the sky. For six months his cries were all that she could hear. The emptiness of his chambers brought him great fear. The trees grew baron, losing all of their pride. as he awaited her return and the release of his bride Written April 13th, 2002 © on Apr 12 2002 04:16 PM PST 10 • 0 • 8
