Assumption Demands Reform, Riots Break Out!
Picture This: Your walking down the hallway on your way to class, everything is going fine until the person in front of you decides to STOP WALKING. Now you don't want to be rude, but the longer you wait there starring at them as they look aimlessly at the poster on the wall, you cant help but wonder why are these people are allowed out of the house. You stare and wait, and still they stand lifelessly in the hallway. The clock is ticking and you should be in you next class by now but still you wait, in the hallway for the "stone wall" to move. No way around them. People begin to back up in the hallways and down the stairs; then something awful happens: Chaos Breaks Out! Young fiery teenage girls scream. Papers and books flying in the air. Students dashing into class rooms looking for cover. Pencils and Markers used as weapons. The Office Ladies have been dethroned and shoved into the supply room. The Principle, who has locked herself in her office to avoid this terror, comes on over the PA demanding that we please stop setting fire in the library and please return to our classrooms. The girls, who by now have already painted themselves with paints from the art room and are marching around the school in their soffee shorts and bras chanting with each other, rush to the lunch room to grab stale bagels, mashed potatoes, and of course AHS's never-ending supply of "Chicken O's" as ammo. In the midst of all of the commotion reporters show up, trying to get an inside look of "Catholic Schools Gone Wrong" but they only get caught up moment and become prisoners of war. Only a few brave souls make it out alive. Headlines read "Assumption Demands Reform, Riots break out!" Today at school a war broke out, and I assure you that I still am standing behind that girl; who is still starring at that dumb poster, and there's no doubt that i'm gonna be late for class. © on Mar 23 2002 11:42 AM PST 0 • 14
