Tangled Web

Trap me in your web. Wrap thin gauze until I suffocate. I start to hate. Catch me in your lies and pluck the legs off of me so I've nowhere to run. Take all my friends. So I'm alone. Flesh and bone. Hardened stone. Trap me in your web. Suck the blood from my lifeless limbs. And leave me rotting in this dark encasement. Leave me rotting like a dead small spider. Wrapped inside her mother's love. Push and shove. But never quite escape.-1991, Written December 17th, 2001 © on Dec 16 2001 04:29 PM PST   0 • 10 • 1
