A God For All Seasons

Every culture has its resident god From Christ and Yahweh to Apollo A being of light or in a human’s body Thorny crown surrounded by a halo Yet not one of you agrees On the deity all the rest sees For every person must be right Or else there will be an unholy fight You believe what you feel I’ll worship in my own way None of us knows which "truth" is real But we'll all find out someday; So why can’t we just let dead dogs lay? © 2/7/02, 3/13/04 SmS"I Want To Believe!"
