Changes
By Lone Poet
Every seven of Earth's revolving lunar years a human body's cellular level seems to change; Skeletal bones, brain, and organs rearrange, leaving our worthy hopes, dreams, and fears behind new family ties, friends, and strangers Time eternal moves on, so slow as ocean tides ebb and flow, sweet climatical seasons come and go; Lovely flowers die, soon to re-bloom and grow, full moon turns on its side, sublime face aglow Life is for learning, changes can be positive and good, spiritual beliefs, uplifting of our cyclical moods gloomy blues disappear, to become mellow yellow; Bridegroom and his new wife exchange consecrated vows, old Frosty's melting, but he'll return next year, more snow drifts to plow Natural as the nightly setting sun, so it, too, shall once again rise until the world's orbit as we know it has been long gone; All things transform, shaped as if right before our eyes, change happens to each and everyone (c) 6/01 SmS Written February 7th, 2002 © on Feb 07 2002 01:15 AM PST, Sheryl Marcia Schwartz 12 • 9 • 5
