desperation
By Lone Poet
desperation is a sense of gloom that overpowers you upon awakening and you can't see the morning sky because it's buried beneath the dense fog (of your brain) you no longer smell the perfume of the flowers in the garden because they shriveled up and died (from grief) along with all your hopes and dreams soon you feel nothing but numbness because your body, mind and soul (are unconscious) anesthetized with a drug called fear you'll do anything to get away run away from the pain and a sudden chill comes over you (like ice) its grip so tight feels like you're frozen (suffocating) with the death grip of despair.
