Hopeless

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The world we know looks hopeless and grim as landfills overflow at best, our chances are slim only a miraculous deed could save this planet's fate but mankind must stop mass breeding before time says it's far too late overpopulated to its brim global warming's fast approaching birds don't fly and fish no longer swim due to our selfish encroaching hopeless is all I feel we brought it on by greed Mother Earth needs balance and harmony to heal or there won't be enough food left to feed her very livelihood lies within our hands but the human race went and blew it for ages we destroyed her sacred land so back in our faces she threw it not much hope remains for the survival of our species it doesn't take much brains to see we're sinking in our own feces (c) 7/01 SmSThe state of the world speaks for itself.
