I’m Pretty, Sort of
By Lone Poet
I may not be a star or beauty queen But I do have charisma, a special charm, So I’m no model on the cover of “Seventeen” Yet for some reason guys, like bees, swarm I'm almost good enought to eat 'Tho my front teeth have a few gaps, My cute smile looks honey-sweet Wish they were whiter, one needs a cap My locks are fine and short, reddish brown I dyed my hair to give body and cover grays, Hazel eyes are almond shaped, nice and round I wear glasses, so nearsighted I'm in a haze Maybe I'm a little chunky through the middle Yet I still look sexy in dark blue and black, Crazy as a monkey, I like to write poetic riddles And sing karaoke, unless I have an asthma attack I guess I’m sort of pretty In my own unique way, I’m fun and quite witty What more can I say? © 1/21/02, 3/15/04 SmSHmmm, guess I'm a teensy bit vain? lol Well, this is what I think I look like...a nearsighted, bunny toothed blob! We're always our worst critics. Written March 6th, 2002 © on Mar 06 2002 01:08 PM PST, Sheryl Marcia Schwartz 14 • 8 • 7
