Make Time Disappear

By Lone Poet

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

If I could make time disappear There would be no more tears We’d all be blissfully set free Nothing to feel, hear or see No worries, hate or fear in our never-never land’s stark void Merry as a fatalistic clamshell parked upon an obscure asteroid No heaven, no hell; only limbo’s dwelling place, oblivious in-between, Bedamned expelled to a darkened Halloween world, eternally wiped clean If history’s clock face forever stopped ticking and disappeared Everything on Earth’s mothership of horrors would cease to exist The link to time’s spatial nexus wickedly severed Until peace and mirth locked lips and kissed, That is, if this hopeless universe was even missed… (c) 12/01 SmSSo much for happy joy joy... lol Written February 12th, 2002 © on Feb 12 2002 07:29 AM PST, Sheryl Marcia Schwartz   12 • 11 • 1
