Pity

By Lone Poet

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I pity the poor souls who feel they must take advantage of the weak Ignorance is not a crime, only injustices to those who can't speak Healing the sick is no easy chore, why can't they just find peace? love and compassion takes heart but if there's a will,             then somehow there's a way at least that's a start though there will always be a price to pay until we live to be free, and then maybe we'll all be ok.           (c) 1999 SmSThere's always some big shot out there who's ready to squash the little guy's guts to get ahead.
