Prayer Bear
By Lone Poet
My little Prayer Bear You bring good will to all, You’re there to ease my fear And catch me when I fall A sweet expression on your face That reminds me of the human race, How one day we’ll leave this place For a new world, somewhere out in space My caring angelic bear, Golden halo upon your head Thank you for always being there, Through the darkness I was led Blessed amongst us feel love’s grace, While evil just turns old and dissolves For me your wings offer a tender embrace, Hold me tightly in soft bearskin gloves Guard our flag within furry paws, Keep our land safe in God's hands Please shelter our worried souls, And help everybody to understand Let go of the violence, hate and greed Roaming freely on this infertile Earth, Prayer bear, don’t let hell's demon seed Steal what’s left of our self-worth (c) 10/01, 3/04 SmSI gave a little white bear w/gold halo to my hubby when he got his appendix removed. His paw says "hope" on it. When the war began, I took one of those little mini flags and stuck it between his praying paws.
