'Til Death Do Us Part
By Lone Poet
I loved you then I still love you now Until forever is when I will keep my vow To honor and cherish “Til death do us part” May breath never perish In mind, soul or heart You were my first You’ll be my last For better or worse Put behind the past Look to tomorrow For brighter skies Pain and sorrow Dry your eyes No rainy showers Here comes the sun Destiny is ours To become one Cupid’s bow stands still The hands of time froze I promise I always will Treasure you as a rose © 2/14/02 SmSSorry if this isn't that great. I wrote it last night, took about 5 minutes or so. This was for my husband but he doesn't get poetry. lol What's to get? Sigh...men, can't live with them, can't live without them.
