Slipping Blade

By Lost Fire Heart

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Slipping away again. Through the darkness I slide. Believeing it will be better. Truth be told, I know it won't. Falling deeper down the spiral. The same path as before. The same simple slices, delicatly formed across my body. Framed in shame of what I've come to. The hole opens, and cosumes me. Falling again and again. Useless to try and fight it. Slowly finding my end. The end of the path. Drawing closer and closer. More careful slices. That bleed away my future. Written March 26th, 2002 © on Mar 26 2002 07:56 AM PST   18 • 0 • 1
