Lost At Sea

By Mad Moon

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

~♥~ My feelings are so out of reach. Endless, yet obscure. Like waves upon an empty beach, unseen and so unsure. I dare not let them surface now for fear they’d overwhelm. A ship upon a stormy sea, with no one at the helm. My Captain has abandoned me. Emotions set adrift. I search, and yet I cannot see just when the fog will lift. I hope that soon the Captain sees, this ship, it could go down. For now, I’ll wait for calming seas, and pray I do not drown. ~♥~ Written January 21st, 2002 © on Jan 20 2002 10:53 PM PST, Mad Moon   21 • 18 • 1
