Everytime he asks to see you, You instantly reject his requests. Forget about your selfish feelings, Be a man and step up to the responsibility you owe him. He has grown up without his father, Still, he has no hate for you. Even though you just don't want to see him, He believes you're just too busy to. You tell him a million lies, And think he doesn't know any better. He's willing to give you another chance, Because he wants to get to know his father. He hides the fact he's really suffering, Because he doesn't want to make you feel guilty. He said it was okay when you didn't visit him in the hospital, But the real truth you were too blind to see. You missed his first steps, And the first words that he spoke. You missed all the times he needed his father, And when he needed your love and advice the most. Everytime you refuse to see him, He wonders what he has done wrong. Why don't you be a man and live up to your responsibilty, You owe at least that much to your son.
