A girl of such beauty, Why do you allow him to treat you so low? You say you can't leave him, So you just stand there and take the blows. You say that you love him, And that he loves you too. Does every bruise show how much he cares? And does every scar show his love for you? As he raises his fist, You shrink in fear. Even though he continues to hit you, You tell him he'll always have you near. He has you hypnotized, And has you thinking you're to blame. But you can do so much better, I know deep down you feel the same. You need to find the courage to leave. This time it may be the hospital, But if you keep taking this abuse, The next time it may be your funeral. Leave him and leave the danger. You shouldn't have to take his abuse.
