Ice Storm
By midniteblu
Jagged pieces of splintered glass fly by. Frigid cold overwhelming. Cuts and scratches blood spraying forth. Squinted eyes to see what comes next. Ducking for cover without protection. The coldest winter ever. Would it would ever end? Finally, spring came. It was you, and you know who you are. You melted the ice and warmed my heart. Winter can come and go, I'll never notice the temperature change. The four seasons melt to one. Heated through and through, complete satisfaction. Ice turns to diamonds that sparkle in the sky. Hold me forever, don't let go. Written March 13th, 2002 © on Mar 13 2002 08:29 AM PST 18 • 0 • 10
