Love is good for the economy. Just ask the phone company employees. They will tell you that When lovers get all lovey-dovey And mushy, What do they, the employees not the lovers, get? Job security! E.g., If lovers talk on and on On the phone For, say, an hour or three Everyday Throughout the month of May, How much will they pay To the phone company? A lot of money! See? Love is good for the economy. Just ask students of psychiatry. They will tell you that Love makes their job-hunting easy Because most lovers do go crazy Eventually. So in time, they, the lovers not the students, Will need psychiatric help In the form of therapy sessions. And need I mention That therapy Costs money? Love is good for the economy. Just ask everybody. They will tell you that They bought a car To impress her, They bought a football Team To impress him, They bought a horse Because It's the latest way to propose, They bought a rose Farm To impress both of them, They bought a city To impress me, They bought two cities To impress twin sisters ...
