Self-love is not a sin

By missmfa

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

My life is all that there is I don't believe in this I wish upon a fallen star In my car I think I'll fake it Even if it takes an eternity I will find my way back to me Take it out then put it in Self-love is not a sin I've spent a lifetime in the past The future was the worst I wish upon a fallen star In my car I think I'll make it Even if it takes an eternity I will find my way back to me Take it out then put it in Self-love is not a sin Look behind at where you've been Look beyond your nose and chin Look above then try to begin Look and you'll be sure to win Look, do you know what I mean? A life-long journey back to eternity I return forgiveness to me I wish upon a fallen star In my car I think I'll take it Even if it takes an eternity I will find my way back to me Take it out then put it in Self-love is not a sin Written October 8th, 2001 © on Oct 07 2001 11:14 PM PST, Mildred Achoch   20 • 0 • 13
