Sometimes

By MistressLynx

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Sometimes, I wondered If this life is worthwhile, Where rules are everywhere, And everything must be in style. Sometimes, I felt I could never face the day Wandering and hoping Life would show a better way. Sometimes, I believed Things could not get worse That life had thrown me a curve, And I'd never make it to first. Sometimes, I cried Because the pain was too much I'd shudder and cringe From the world's icy touch. Sometimes, I thought I'd never make it through, But all that changed, The moment I found you.
