I Slowly Drift Away

By morningstar

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I will run and I will hide It's me you'll never find Watch as I jump into the sea You don't know where I'll be Off into the deep blue I have nothing to loose As I slowly drift away I will jump and I will fall I have already made the call Look at me just disappear Now I'm no longer here Lost in the moonless night No reason for me to fight As I slowly fade away Once in a while it's all okay But not now, not today I just want to go White stripe on the black floor I've left through the door Find me my divine place I wish it was in outer space Floating off into the dark I've already left my mark Let me drift, let me fade Slowly awayJust a little poem I wrote around 2:30am :) Written April 20th, 2002 © on Apr 19 2002 05:56 PM PST, Kyle Robinson   0 • 10
