Tuesday

Born on a Tuesday afternoon Die on a Tuesday evening I don't know why I want to die I just think it's time For me to die I was born on a Tuesday afternoon Now I die on a Tuesday evening It's only right to do what is wrong But I don't know, it's been happening so long The time has come around To lay myself in the ground Back to the earth I go Now I leave this how I don't want to tell you That no one ever knew That tuesday was my last The day that came so fast And everything I was before Has come to be no more Because I want to leave this place But I can't tell this to your face I was born on a Tuesday afternoon Now I die on a Tuesday evening It's only right to do what is wrong But I don't know, it's been happening so long And I say 'Goodbye' to you now And I don't know why or how I thought I could go this way But I know that I can't stay It's time for me to go Somewhere I have yet to know But I must tell you this I never felt true bliss All I've ever seen is pain Nothing is to remain There'll be no more of me You just wait and see I was born on a Tuesday afternoon Now I die on a Tuesday evening It's only right to do what is wrong But I don't know, it's been happening so long Born on a Tuesday afternoon Die on a Tuesday evening I don't know why I want to die I just think it's time For me to dieI wrote this poem almost two years ago. This was a time in my life when things weren't going too well. I was very suicidal, and I wrote this to let my feeling out. Plus, this poem was included in an English project last year, and it was my teacher's favourite poem. I hope you enjoy. :) Written April 7th, 2002 © on Apr 06 2002 04:51 PM PST, Kyle Robinson 20 • 0 • 1
