Growing Up Straight

Growing up straight was never a problem in the high school dance pep rallie "I'm dating the star quarterback" days of the 80s. As a matter of fact, in her clique it was cool to gay bash or to make fun of those "fag hag" goth girls. She was popular, a cheerleader, queen of the "We're better than you" crowd and would never dream of associating with THOSE types. In the 90s lesbianism and bi-sexuality were "cool" and you could find her putting on a show at any club with her sorority sisters. Then she met you, a real lesbian, you thought she was the same while she put on more shows for the boys at the clubs. But she always had a headache or had to go to work or was on her fucking period and couldn't be bothered with eating, kissing, touching - you. But at the clubs, she was like fire, writhing all around you. You didn't notice the flirtatious smiles at the boys, not at first. And you'd go home, to her place, and she'd let you go down but she always had an excuse not to go down on you. She stopped coming around and never returned your calls. and she always tells the boys she's bi. Written August 1st, 2000 © on May 30 2001 01:54 AM PST   0 • 10
