It's Better Off This Way I thought that things would be different this time, I thought maybe you'd treat me better, That i'd really have a chance at loving and being loved, But I guess that was to much of me to ask. I saw my life ahead of me, You gave me reason to live, Now you're gone and i'm alone, What have I to live for? There will never be another that can touch my heart the way I allowed you to, When you said good-bye I was crushed but it was so easy for you, How could you walk away from my life and leave me young, sad and blue? I don't know how you managed to do it but I'm better off without you! *** This is just something that I felt I needed to write. Never fall in love with someone who isn't willing to love you back.
