Two, Three, Four PM (Challenge Poem)

Challenge Description: write about your favorite time of day...why...? do you spend it with someone special, or is it just because you dont have anything to worry about at that time...make it special, make me actually see the sun rising(example) or the sun set. or something to that extent...thank you...good luck (60 points) Napping is to repair my soul Yoga is stretching and relaxing In the afternoon, the sun hasn't yet gone But the most heat has passed *** Rush for a cup of coffee Rush for work and school and things that need to be done in the morning In the evening other duties are in my list: The bills have to be paid The stomach wants to be fed Exhausted, is how I feel as I approach the end of the day The bed is waiting when midnight comes I need to recharge the battery But, The afternoon is when the flowers grow most beautifully The birds fly most free The beach is calling, inviting me Around two, three, four PM is the perfect time to be outside with nature The precise moment to be reading and writing poetry And dreaming and practicing yoga and all the good acts that can be done on a fine day Whether alone or with company, such a wonderful part of the day shouldn't be missed Written February 28th, 2002 © on Feb 27 2002 07:05 PM PST   0 • 10
