They Won't Agree

By natb17

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I watched the sun fall down the day you went away from me Another one gone What have I done wrong? I just wanted love and they won't agree Nobody's fair and I knew it all So why do I fall in too deep? Feelings untrue and I always knew I just wanted love and they won't agree. Opened the curtains and made up my bed Well, that's what they said they'd always do... How could they leave me on a thread? I'll never do the things they do.. Photos betray How could you play with the arm of cupid's wing? Another one gone What have I done wrong? I just wanted love and they won't agree I need to walk a regular mile Put up a bridge between sun and moon This clock is ticking under my skin Will I ever.....? Damn! I'll never love again... Here in this fog I'm seeing clear now Isn't it weird how I was so blind Reflections affecting what I believed in I'll find the cleansing throughout time... And so it stands, standing it all And they ain't got a tab on me... This is my song Done nothin' wrong be as it may They won't agree.
